simply a photographic day in Kay eLLe...
i was supposed to do my photography assignment, on promoting Malaysia Tourism.
At last minute decision, Butterfly Park i went.
Simple, easy & importantly the entrance fee is cheap.
only RM5 for Malaysian.
at the counter when the lady realise Amelia & Angel speaking funny Malays, she suspected they aren't locals. so she was asking for our MyKad *this is the purpose of MyKad, to get Malaysian discounts*
*my actual plan was to go THE BIRD PARK (said to be the largest covered BIRD PARK in the world), tapi ga jd. Coz the entrance is RM12(special rate during school holidays, N.P:RM30), so mahal & i actually hate birds... they might be in cages & i might not be able to shoot nice pics*, if those not in cage, i'll be to affraid to go near for a good shot*
I showed her mine but Amel&Angel ga punya. *oh no...* does she wana charge them *freaking*RM15 instead of RM5??? Yes, she was asking RM15 from each of them. Gila!!!!
Foreigner RM15
*me puts on thinking cap*
Me: Does students get discount
Counter lady: yes. but i will need to see your student cards
Me: Mana student card lo org? cepat keluarin... dapat %
*talking to A&A, pantas lo org bw student card, kalo tdk harus bayar lebih neh.*
Counter lady: *checking student cards* Total, RM17 (RM5+RM5+RM5+RM1[for camera]+RM1[fish food]
so we happily walk into the Butterfly Farm... but i think we ended up took more pictures of ourselves than the butterfly... PENANG BUTTERFLY FARM is much better, bigger & more other animals available, other than just butterfly.
later on we continued our Photography Day along Bukit Bintang. check out Amelia's blog for photos & our stories continue there....
*lazy to blog about the same experience since si amel udah nulis neh*.... huahahhaha....
ENJOY the story from her BLOG....
oh, i actually went to Planetarium Negara 2 days before this. Was there to (recce) check out the place first, thought of doing it but it's too dark in it(did not bring my tripod along) & not much... just only.. cheap entrance fee.
RM1.
yes, it's RM1.
but you will need to pay extra if you would like to catch some Space documentaries in FILM [RM6] or their laser shows (RM3)... or the Space Ball (RM2)...
here are some pics... - sorry cant uplaod them again.. will try again later...
