society is changing or wat?

i was blog surfing & drop on to this girl's blog, nejeec. After reading for some time, only i realise she's only 15 years old, this year.

She live like a 20 year old girl, or maybe even older. But still acts & think like a 15 year old.

Does rich KL teenages lives so pampered? Maybe because they've got rich dads... Or the society now teach their children to live with luxuries... *Getting a GUESS bag right after PMR*
What's PMR, okay? It's just a piece of crappy paper. Although i did not really get the best results. but still.

15 years old drinking alco at discos and pubs is like such a turn off to the older ones. aren't they suppose to enjoy their teenage years for atleast another 2 years or more.

suprisingly, KL teenagers are allowed to go clubbing & drinking till drunk & back early morning. That's the society living in today's world?? *shrinks*

Wears Prada,

Children nowadays are too pampered by parents, i think le. they will grow too protective & do not appreciate how much their parents earn the $$$. It's all hard earn cash...

Hope today's new lepaking teenagers will flash back their lives & think about it.

I did enjoyed my easy going life back in Form 3. Busy with school work, extra co-curiculum. Yeah, i did join as much as 7 clubs/society/persatuan/sukan & etc.
i. Board of Librarians
ii. Board of Break Monitors
iii. Girl Guide
iv. Rumah Kuning
v. Basketball
vi. Bimbingan & Kerjaya
vii. Chess

i oftenly forgotten when's each meeting weekly. needs reminders from fello friends. haha. i join more than 4/5 society every year. since Form 2 - Form 5. haha. but enjoyed every bits of it & learn lots. camping around is still my favorite. will get to talk till we fall asleep. i never got to go home at 1:30pm during my Form 5 year. Too Always got to stay back. the earliest would be 3.00pm.

so i've most of my time occupied, but still much related to school. not lepaking around. the most, i love, are just movies. drinking alco only at home or family gatherings *etc. CNY* & i enjoy it from the comfort of my own home.

see, things have change in 6 years. Only 6 years. or people in KL tend to move faster, like the fashion here. haha.

i rest my case.

  • Ya, I agree. Things are very fast in KL. However, there is a disadvantage to that. If the mind cannot cope with that time speed, things will break down easily. :-D

  • Rumah Kuning is not consider a society ok! It's compulsory to attend wan. But then again, i agree strongly on ur entry. Its bad for kids to get mature so soon. They tend to miss apart of their childhood.

  • but still got meeting to attend or rather practice...

i miss my childhood. Know less worry less... hahaha...

  • hello! this is the infamous nejeec :) i have a tracker, so ya, that's how i wound up at your site!

uhm, well.. first off, i do not feel offended in any way that you blogged about me/my "lifestyle"

though i would like to make myself sound less of a brat :X heh, if you don't mind!

err, i don't really think that things in kl are "fast", as you put it.

i do drink, occasionally. but when i say occasionally, i mean, once in months.

i do not club, though! i found it rather flattering that you said that, because truthfully, i look too young! and that is not my scene one bit.

about the part of my parents buying me a guess? bag, if it makes me sound less brattier, it only costed two hundred. and not the usual price of Guess?, which is four hundred and et cetra. yes, they got it on sale! *malu malu*

perhaps my blog gave you the wrong impression of me. because i really do not think i am the partygirl that you describe me as. there are kids my age who go clubbing, i will not lie to you. but i'm not one of them. :D

i hope i didn't offend you in any way.

    best regards(:

  • i did reference you but, i was speaking generally of teenages todays.

KL indeed grow faster than the rest of any states in Malaysia. I can compare that as i grew & breed in Penang.

  • All you do in penang is eat right? I mean, the life there is really slow compared to KL.

No wonder penang people are so free. =)

  • How do you penang people are so free? :-D
It's not about KL vs Penang. It's about diverse lifestyles that affect people's thinking. And somehow that is what makes us all unique. :-)

  • wow.
    this is a hit.

wherever you found etain's blog, good on ye.

but do NOT, do NOT judge people based on their blogs. cos if you were to look at mine, you'd find an angry 30 year old who looks at the political and social aspects of life.

i have the 2 cents to tell you that your blog has bad spelling and go on about how you SHOULD improve on your english if you're gonna attack us fair-weathered KL-ites. But I'm not a bitch.

I will no further offend Penangites as my cousins hail from there.

Think before talking. Etain's only 15.

  • lol. i'm not exactly from KL but am from KLG.

now this topic bout how fast the society's moving. i think kl and penang are not that different. I myself know a couple of penangnites that's pretty "fast" too. in fact, 13 - 14 yrs old dressed up like twenties something and heck I don't see people blogging about them. as far as i know penang is VERY happening and I happen to know there are almost, always parties in the weekend. not now of course, spm's near. in fact, they party in glo, ss, and other penang clubs ever though they're like what you call "teenagers". i think gurney serves as a pretty good place to see examples of this "teenagers".

the way etain's brought up with the guess bag and all are well, i don't know, lucky? at least she's not a brat, and you can tell by the way she blogs. LOL.
