Lim Kok Wing pays wife RM11m

KUALA LUMPUR: Prominent educationist Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing and wife Puan Sri Tessie Lim ended their 21-year marriage amicably yesterday with a divorce settlement that included an RM11.65mil cash payment.

High Court Judicial Commissioner Aziah Ali granted the order for divorce in chambers with decree nisi – a decree issued on a first petition for divorce that becomes absolute at a later date, in this case in three months’ time.

If no issues crop up in the meantime, the divorce will automatically be affirmed.
According to the joint petition for divorce filed on Dec 11, 2006, Lim and Tessie had been living separately since March last year.

Lim, 61, and Tessie Louise Weller, 44, were married on Nov 18, 1986 in Petaling Jaya.
The couple has a 20-year-old daughter Tiffanee Marie Lim.

Lim also has a 25-year-old son, Lim Kok Wing Jr, from a previous marriage.

According to the petition, Lim had agreed to hand over RM11,650,000 in cash to Tessie as a one-off alimony payment, and as part of the divorce settlement.

Other terms of the settlement were not made available.

i've been tagged by Matthew Kang . a friend of mine from Sony Nature Photography Camp... also found out he was my junior's (at CLS) younger brother. What a small world we Penangites have...

5IVE BIG REASONS WHY I BLOG....
i started blogging betweem late 2005 & early 2006. My early blog posts kick started at Friendster Blog. which later seems to have to many public people reading it. Not much privacy. Another blogger friend of mine think the same too. So we both started a proper blog, making our way out from Friendster blog.

1. to keep friends updated about the latest me
things happens & most of my friends are all linked to the world wide web, therefore, to save time &U energy, I tell my stories online... people do keep bugging me & i need to keep repeating myself. Now i can just tell them... "Go check my blog le, its all there... Please do leave some comment there too."... lol...

2.my online journal
to pen down my good & bad memories. it is in digital format. so, i can still dig this stuff out after 10 or 20 years. Good memories will not do down the drain but shall be remembered throughout life or even to the next generation... lol... i might get forgetful at times too. Or a CRASH Hard Disk... atleast i uploaded my precious moments here... yes, i juz had my External Hard Disk sent to its manufacturing factory for repair. The comp guy just told me its all in a mess. Need to send to factory to repair. All my 100G of files, TVB series, movies, pictures & etc... all GONE...

3. to inform my friends for the next outing...
although people from Raleigh rarely do some planning before leaving for a trip, but I still try my best to atleast kick off some initial plan. But its all up to everyone how do they flow with it & ended up in Mendakap, Pahang at 1:00am. lol...

4.using the excuse, "this is for my blog".
to keep my blog more interesting.. i post up pictures.. i used to blog much more than recently. I've not blog much since I was busy with REACHING OUT around September or October 2006. I used to take funny or other than normal stuff pictures that come across my life... and use them as my blog materials...

5. to share my joy & happiness
life can be so short... to keep my friend happy when I am... blogging would be a good choice. Sharing is always caring...

31 January 2007, Wednesday

everyone knows Wednesday is movie day... a bunch of Raleighians gather for movie at 9pm @ GSC Midvalley. We were charged RM11 for each seats because the next day is a Public Holiday, therefore no special movie day rates. *disapointed abit* but we were fun....

wanted to get ourself Baskin Robbins before movie with Adrian's " Buy One Get One Free" vouchers but it was damn packed with people... yes, it's 31st and everyone's rushing to get a 31% discounts on their pints...

at 11pm, after "Night at the Museum" we decided to go for Thaipusam at Batu Caves. all 4 cars headed to Kar Lye's place and 2 cars were then headed to Batu Caves. The traffic jam begins about 300m along Jalan Kuching from Duta Roundabout.

both drivers, Adrian & Shih Chung found a place to park at around 11:50pm.

1 February 2007, Thursday

At about 12:30am, we are almost reaching the main gates of Batu Caves. Yes, through hard squeezes of people... only we managed to almost reach the main gates of Batu Caves... at that point, we decided to just go up the flyover to have a higher view of these people... so up we go...

by the time we reached the top of the flyover, which was less crowded, we were over viewing those people below trying hard to push themselves into Batu Caves... it was windy up there...

the night will not just end without some camwhoring...

as the time was about 2:00am.. we decided to walk back to our cars... yes, it should be a more than 30 minutes walk back to our cars...

at 3:00am+ we were all tired & hungry... Adrian suggested for Dim Sum & ahead we go for Dim Sum at Jalan Ipoh. We left Jalan Ipoh around 5:00am+ and lenfoong,d best medicine bunk over @ my place.

both of us doze off around 6:00am, just before the sun rises...

two lazy bums woke up before the clock stroke 2:00pm. We move around a bit, online, talk nonsense & finally took a bath before we headed out for lunch. Texted Shih Chung for lunch but he replied, "Adrian eating lunch". -.-" ... Does not make sense... is this because of our too active lifestlyes and lack of sleeps??? Called Adrian but he sedang makan/ sudah makan...

lenfoong,d best medicine and I then drove-through Kota Damansara's McD for a take-away lunch. Everywhere was packed, its Feb 1, public holiday... everyone goes out today... so we ta-pau our lunch & makan @ Adrian's place. Which he had just named it as "Raleigh Activities Centre".

Delta group was doing their fund-raising packaging cum group meeting at his and Pooi San's place. Me and lenfoong,d best medicine was there to visit them and also to past time.

We were there actually to wait for 8:00pm as we were suppose to play Futsal at Subang Jaya. *me malas to go back home after lunch and come out again for futsal, lagi my house no FOOD*.

We left "Raleigh Activities Centre" at 8:00pm. With more waiting after we left the place.

We finally reached Subang Jaya for Futsal almost 9:00pm. The game started at 9:00pm and lasted til 10:00pm. Everyone was exhausted, but it was a fun night. most of us were newbies. Some came in sandles and played bare-footed, some came in hiking boots and some came in tennis shoes. But we had a fun time with laughters and running around...

All headed to Dave's Taman Tun for a mamak session after Futsal. Where James joined our mamak session and kena char kau kau as usual by the rest of us...

the long day ended here and everyone went home for some good rest...

2 February 2007, Friday

woke up around 10:00am... clean up my room & chilled around the house whole day. Managed to catch up '24 Season 6' 5 episodes. Tonite is also badminton night... a few Raleighians would be coming over for badminton. As usual.. they turn up late. The earliest is still Shirleen and Pearly was with her... they changed and we headed for the badminton court.

The rest reached almost 11:00pm. We played badminton until almost 12:00midnight. Kar Lye bought a board game *i forgotten the name* and we played them in the badminton court. The rest was playing some slapping crossed legs game.

Wei Ming arrived too late but we all went up to my place, lepak awhile and went for Yam Char in Kepong.

3 February 2007, Saturday

My day did not started that well. I woke up after Pearly managed herself with her toiletries stuff. By the time i finished shitting, the water went off. I have not even brush my teeth yet. Manage to atleast brush my teeth first with water from Pearly's water bottle.

Out we go as I picked up Kar Lye fro Segambut KTM station. We arrived Internation Youth Centre (IYC) almost 10:00am for the January Post Introduction Weekend (PIY). I thought we were very late, but they have not started yet.

Join in the fun and loads of fun in-return we received. It was a great day, of ex-venturers sharing their experienced with us. From 'ways to fund raising' to 'how to pack our Rugsack'...

We left (IYC) around 2:30pm and had lunch with BJ and his friend 'Ace' *hope I spell it right* at Taman Connaught. After eating about 5:00pm, everyone did not want to head home. All looking for more activities but we ran out of ideas. Adrian suggested we all head back to his house and brain-storms for more ideas.

Kar Lye, Pearly, and me arrived at Adrian's place before the clock strike 6:00pm. It took the house tenant a much more longer time to reach his house. With an excuse, traffic jam.

Around 6:30pm, Adrian called me, he said Alan and gang is going to Bentung for dinner. *from the name itself, I can feel is a place far far away from Klang Valley*. We are invited to join them. I turned around and asked Pearly (lying on the floor), "Where is Bentung?", "Bentung is in Pahang." Me, -.-" OMG!!!

Continue my phone conversation, we are going to Pahang for dinner? So yes... we waited for him to come back and Pooi San to bath before leaving for Bentung. Before leaving Klang Valley, we picked up Shih Chung from his house.

Due to 'Thaipusam' season, Jalan Kuching to Batu Caves is still having heavy traffic. Instead we changed our route by using Jalan Genting Klang. We reached the restaurant almost 10:00pm. Yes, go all the way to Bentung for dinner with chilled air. Although i do not denied... the food there is cheap and good. Each person need to pay RM9.50, dishes served were vegs, steamed red snapper, claypot taufu and some others i forgotten.

Papayas with Lime squeezed on it served chilled was great deserts. Everyone was having a fun time having dinner there... except James and i think, also Kar Lye.

James is still saying he got conned by 'its Lii' for dinner at Bentong. He had no idea where is Bentong... *neither did i, but i did asked*...

While we were chatting, talking nonsense *again, for countless times* about balloons and bus and vacuum. Someone brought up the idea of 'visit Len Foong' in Mentakab, Pahang.

Therefore, after dinner *with some arrangements done with Len Foong for landmarks*, we headed to Mentakab.

It was more than an hour drive. Thank to our brave drivers, 'its Lii', Pooi San and Adrian for driving us all safely there and back.

Adrian aired his car with his Scouting CDs of songs. *yes, lagu pengakap* Dengan syok sendiri sama James they sing along with the song and are very proud of it.

After sesat abit, we managed to meet Len Foong, outside Bukit Bendera Resort. We talked for awhile on the road... She was a bit shocoked to see 3 cars of people visiting her at 1:00am. Yes, indeed everyone now agrees Raleigh is a bunch on crazy people which go for road trips without plans... lol...

We manage to grab Len Foong into the car I was in and off we headed to a place for Yam Char. We went around Mentakab town, while she explains her memorable bits in this lovely small town of hers.

We sat and talk more nonsense for an hour or so in a closed coffee shop in Mentakab town. The coffee shop uncle was friendly with us although we were the KLites which had invades into his shop middle of the night and make the most noise.

Everyone still agrees to head to Cherating all this while from Bentung to Mentakab. It's juz another 2 and a half hour drives from Mentakab. *Cherating trip was all started to con James*... lol

We left the coffee shop almost 3:00am and sentd Len Foong back to her house.

All cars filled up their tank with petrol and off we headed back to KL. Adrian's car this time was filled with Lagu Tahun Baru Cina. But i think James and I were both sleeping dead in the back seats.

Sampai rumah Adrian 4:00am. Thank God I did not drive, if not sure mati kecapekan as I'm driving to Melacca tomorrow with my mom. Me and Pearly slept over in Pooi San's room. Everyone tidur mati, because we all had a super long day, together, together on the road and together makan & lepaking.

Below is a map of Pahang. We travelled from Kuala Lumpur to Bentong and then to Mentakab and back to KL. the map will show how far we travelled in a day or rather a night.

4 February 2007, Sunday - TODAY

Pooi San left house earlier because she sudah ada appointment with friends. The rest tidur sampai very late. I waited for the rest to wake up and manage to read a book of FOUR (4) chapters, a.k.a. 31 pages, a book lyied next to Pooi San's bedside.

Everyone was awake and bath by 3:00pm. It took us another 20 minutes to decide where to eat. After picking up Shih Chung, we changed our plans and all headed to Section 17 for brunch. It was already 4:00pm then.

Everyone was tired after our meal. We had a long weekend since Thaipusam Eve.

OMG!!!! Do I still have life other than Raleighians? But I still love you guys... you guys ROCKS...

There will still be a Futsal game with Raleighians coming week. Should be on Thursday night, prefered time would be 8:00pm. Please try your best not to be late. Venue, TBC, trying to get a place nearer than Subang Jaya, that's no ones territories...

It's been super long since I last blog. Would like to thank my buddy for posting up a post while I had been busy lately. (although it was to advertise her blog... my blog sudah dead le... not much reader also...)

Today is my 13th day of shoot. Those who still hang out with me would know what am I currently doing.

Doing a documentary of " A day in the Life of Seageant Amali" for today. He's a volunteer for "Malaysia Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association (MVFRA).

While we (me & my whole production team) were having breakfast at mamak this morning, something stroke our mind.

Is the Malaysia Fire Rescue Teams sufficient (or atlest reach the minimal level) to cover the whole of Malaysia?

If yes, then why is there MVFRA?
MVFRA is a non profit organisation (NGO), please check out their website for more information. There are actively involve in Malaysia & are promoting it nation wide.

why had i recently been so busy???... many had asked... coz i'm doing my AMGI...
wat's AMGI? Animation, Motion & Graphic Introduction... yes, it's juz an introduction subject to Animation & i can die dee...

If i'm not @ home drawing... means I'm busy @ home with Raleigh stuff or outside meeting over Raleigh stuff... *about*.. the Conference & the Christmas Party...

lately... i've been drawing alot... with my mouse... *click, click, click, click*....

this is what I had drew....

Background of a street....

The train with my name on it suppose to cross pass the Street *moving from Right towards left*.... will do the Animation in After Effects... for this.. I had juz finish drawing with Adobe Illustrator...

*Total time: I would say it took me 3 whole days to draw & a whole lot of motivation to kick my ass to start drawing it...

lots of motivation... lots... Yes, believe me lots... when there's people out there who kept sms-ing, MSN-ing, calling & everything else which connects me... - to go out for movies, lepak, yam char & even to a birthday dinner*this one still reasonable, kalo enggak, nanti aq d panggang*... when i'm still stuck with my last subject... to complete my DEGREE from the BLACK builDing...

and to call myself... a GRADUATE ....

but no longer a.... GRADUATE-TO-BE.... hahaha....

to my lovely more than a decade friend, Eve Lee. Or I still call her Ling Jang, or what her family 'Ling'.
Calling you Ling Jang just makes me feel a older friend of yours. Eve is just the new calling...

She will be celebrating her 21st birthday toDay.......

You've always been truly a friend to me... At all times... Though thick & thin, sweet & sour, although at times there's still the bitter part... But our friendship will last forever.

We first became best of friends when we were in Standard 3, 9 years old. Both of us & another chubby girl named Dorothy, were best friends. But as time pass-by, somehow only me & Eve kept-in-touch. Maybe because my family pindah rumah next to her apartment block that year too.

Since then, we've always been close friends. Even though we were no longer in the same class in Standard 4 & 5. Same class in Standard 6 but we were kind of like drifted apart... I think till end of Form 2, because of CTC 1999, only we came back close. We were in difference class in Form 1, 2 & 3.

Although pre-camps for CTC 99 was quite rough, but somehow we manage to keep our friendship... One leads to another... camps... & more camps... We have the same interest... of camping... but somehow she kind of lack-off from camps from other schools... haha.. she prefers PFS... haha..

As in Form 4, we manage to get our asses into Form 4 Science. Although we both knew we're not the Science type, but we enjoyed it.. haha...

Me, still continue going to whatever camps that my school, CLS was invited. My name & Chrn's will always be in the list..

Anyway, back to Ling Jang... we've also now known as each other's family friend. Almost all my family members know her. I meant external family members too. haha...

Our stuff can just get jumbled up... even house numbers. Remember bo? When we were still in CLS, we can always remember each other's house number but not our own house numbers. *i even wrote ur house number when filling in forms & u wrote mine*. Then I'll ask you for my house number. *That time we still masih tak pakai mobile phone yet kay*

I juz miss our olden days... life is just filled with less worries...

At times you are always by my side... to think bout it, remember my 'accident day', i told you my cameron-uncle pass away, you were physically by-my-side. *that's the third time, you were with me when my mom told me relatives passed-away*... all 3 times we were together... what a coincident.....

May you have a Blessed 21st Birthday... & may alL your dreams come true...

christal's nightmare....

of all things... accidents on roads are always nightmares....

while i was picking Eve up from her place, out side her apartment security house, i reversed; my back bumper knock into this *angry* guy's proton wira, just right above his back wheel.

it happens around 8:15pm

we both came down & saw his damages. eve saw the man but she juz stands there. My car was blocking the whole road. So i told him i drove out 1st. Then, eve juz walk towards my car... as i drove further & further... She told me the Wira guy did not came out, I was actually in my locked car, waiting for him. Mana tahu dunno where he went, so we both flee out of that area... for... dinner... haha...

*dunt think so the guy know eve, coz he did not see me & eve talk... haha...*

After dinner, when i went up to Eve's house to get some stuff from her, I wore a black jacket over my shirt. Takut the guy can recognise me.... * i actually cant regocnise him, coz it was dark & i was more concerned over his car damage then his face. haha. * But while walking to eve's apartment, she said she saw the guy, she cant really recognise him too. but we both cabut... haha...

i was still a bit takut over that incident.... after i left eve's place.

that was not the HIGHLIGHT of the story...

About 15 minutes after i left from Eve's place... while i was cutting lanes... Cant remember what road was that but the same road as Titiwangsa St. *hope i got the st.'s name right too*. I was cutting lanes while my car was at Halt before that. So i was moving very slow, I see my side mirror a few times before I cut lanes. Two motorbikes speed past me. The First one managed to pass through but the 2nd bike left handle knocks on my right side mirror.

BANG!!!!!!

I was still in my driver's seat position.
I was shocked to heard the big loud 'bang'.
I do not know to get down from the car, or not. Coz I was all alone in the dark.
I saw his bike & him turn together on the floor. *he claimed his helmet went off, which i wasn't sure coz i was too shocked*
I saw his bike & him came to a halt position.
I grab my mobile & went down from my car.
I locked my cars, incase some stupid idiot tries to curi stuff from my car. *although i remembered i've kept all valuebles in the bonet*
I asked the man is he alright. * I did not dared to touch him, incase might hurt him more* or he might have HIV, which is transmitted through open wounds.* Indians always look scary to me. I know i'm racist... Don't care!!!
He shooked his head. * I tooked it as a 'yes, i'm alright*
He request me to send him home.
I said go to the hospital.
He said his mom is a nurse.
I told him go hospital.
Atlast, I drove him back coz i've no idea where is the nearest hospital or clicnic or watsoever. *i'm so unfamiliar with that place*
As if a nurse mom can help you out.... -_-"
While i was driving, with him in the car, I was quite scared too. Some injured indian in my car, his friends help him took his bike & left the accident scene ...
All I could think of, is to call a friend & tell what happened to me & where am I going. *learned from watching movies & TVB series*
The hardest would be where am I going? Coz i've no idea where am I going.
I lived in Sentul Flat. * i think it's Sentul, not really sure too*
I shouted, Where is Sentul Flat? *incase he fainted, shout to keep him awake*
He told me the directions, only i realise i come to some dark housing flats area.
I start to feel a little panic.
So i called 'Kevin', my housemate....
The call went into his Voice Mail.
I'm like... Oh, SHIT!!!!... who else to call...
I remembered his brother, which is also my another housemate. * I cant remembered what happened but somehow i did not managed to get him too*.
Tried Kevin again but still cant get him
My 'Last 10 Called list' next name was "Adrian RIKL"
I juz called him & asked, "Are you still in KL?"
He said, "Yes." *Thankfully*
I blurted out what happened to me & what am I doing at the moment.
Trying to explain where am I heading to. Told him my surroundings.
I think he said he was at somewhere in BB Plaza at that time... did not really heard him also...
He said he can come over.
I asked for directions what to do.

I did all the 'callings' while I was driving & sending him.

Ofcourse I takut like gila la. All I could think of is to send him for medical attention first.
Reached his flat, its dark & no one seems to care about it. Two old fellas walk pass us. I asked him what to do?
He asked me to open the door for him. *coz i've already turn off the car engine.
His skin sweats, sure sweat la... Pain & takut...
I could see blood.
I wasn't really scared of the blood... but from what i saw earlier happened to him, I'm scared of his internal injuries lebih.
He bleeds... then only i realised... his blood kena my Pooh tissue box.
I quickly detached the hanging Pooh tissue box hanging behind & passes him some tissue to wipe off his blood first. *cis, mengotorkan Pooh aq je*

We waited at his flat's carpark... I do not know what was he waiting for? I grab my bag and sitted in the driver's seat continue calling for help!!!!

He then asked me to call some numbers... not sure who is it.. but i just dialled.

He went little unconcious while telling me the numbers halfway.
I panic bit.
But his friends appeared at the moment. Talk to him & stuff.
I continue calling people...
I called my mom.
I called my dad.
Texted Eve about it.
I called Adrian, to check if he knows the way.
Then out of a sudden, atleast 20 indians fella came out.
They all talked in Indian. I've no idea what they were saying.
But some seems angry although they're not involve at all.
I started praying to God and hope nothing goes wrong.
Since they talked in Indian, I talked to Adrian on the phone in Cantonese. *to make them wonder too, haha*

The injured guy, still lying on my back seat repeated himself, he do not want medical attention.
BODOH punya... sure badan sendiri ada tahi d... Do not want to go to hospital. *learned from TVB series*
I wanted to send them to GH but they insist to go to a private hospital.
Still trying to blame me that it's my fault.
Then I objected to go to a private hospital
I will not bear the medical cost. It's going to cost atleast almost RM 1K in a private hospital.
I know medical fees are expensive. *i see my grandparents go check-up already cost a few hundred bucks* & also my frequent visits to hospitals...
They insist to go to a private hospital still.
Then his friends marah-ed me for not sending him to hospital or clicnic.
I said your friend inside my car do not want to go. What can I do?
After more Indian talking, I drove off with 3 of his friends in my car to the nearest clinic.
While I drove off, one of the Indian outside kick hardly on my car.
One of the Indian in the car actually scoulded his friends for doing that.
While they were directing me to the nearest clinic, they actually told me not to worry.
They actually consulted me 'NOT TO WORRY'.
I continue driving and did not actually bother to talk to them too.
Only the 3rd clinic we reached is open, when the first 2 clinic we went wrote 24 HOURS but closed. bodoh punya.
They send him into the clinic ASAP and the doctor attended to him.
I stayed outside the clinic and called Adrian again.
To check if he's arriving soon.
Or he's lost.
I read him an adress I saw near the clinic.
Somehow, some pass-by Indian uncle told me the directions and I managed to tell him my location.
I still do not know where am I at the moment.
The surroundings aren't much to describe as there's not much landmark.

After minutes which seems hours to me... he finally appeared.
I was more relieved then.
After all the waiting & surrounded by lots of Indians which I do not know them here came someone I knew.
*all this while of trying to stay clam infront of the Indians, hoping they will not bully me*
I walk up calmly to him, although i'm still takut, kaget, worried & everything else.
He came out calmly from his car too with a pack of ciggies.
Then the Indians came bugging around us & introduced themselves to him. *weird huhh*
They wanted to befriended him & talk things out.
All started smoking awhile.
I just stood there and they talk a bit.

Then me, like 'lok hau kung', telling statement to police, I told Adrian what happened.
From the beginning to the end.
He somehow took it from there & talked to them.
Asked them what happened?
To listen to their side of the story.
They're trying to argue i'm in the wrong.
5 indians talking to 1 chinese.
Then they tried to overpower us by being loud.
But that seems impossible.
We are not fighting-things-out. We want to talk.
Then he asked them to send a representative to talk.
No more 1 talking to 5. Tired. Need to repeat the same things over 5 times.
So 1 volunteered....
Trying to talk things out. I somehow got tired over the talking & just sat on my car bonet.
No really listening to their conversation.
I've already told him what happened.
So he's my rep.... haha.

I was tired and hungry & still worried.
Then those indians asked us to go see his injured friend.
Adrian wanted to know his condition and talk to the doctor.
His fingers got fractured, need a few stiches on on his knee and 1 on his face. * as i could remember*

Moments later, Kevin arrived with Adrian's directions.

Kevin; my housemate, my God Brother, an insurance agent, a financial advisor.
Kevin listens to the conversation between Adrian & the other indians.
I told him the whole story.
Gave his point from 'Insurance' Point of View.
The best sollutions. Called a few of his friends for advises.
Called my mom and report to her about me.
Coz i'm still in quite shock condition talk on a phone.

The injured mother came. She seems educated.
She sounds really in the medical line. * a nurse*
The injured's brother seems educated too.
Both dont really seems to be over worried over the injured son.
Just hope he's still alive.
I think the mom dunt really have high hopes for this son too. haha.

The talking and waiting at the clinic ends around 1:00 AM.

The final solution was... we absorb the medical fees in the clinic, RM200 & pay up RM300.
Total sum was RM 500.

Bodoh punya SENTUL indians!!!.... But they cannot have any of our numbers & address.
They actually called a friend who works in a lawyer firm.
Earlier someone told me, he's a police, then when he introduce with his namecard or rather his boss's name card, only to know he handles such accident cases in a lawyer firm.
We still do no know what's his position. haha.

So after bayar, we have no connections at all with them.

Kevin's advice was also to settle with $$$ coz, his friends said if call in the cops, might stir up lots of trouble. They looks like Sentul Indians gangsters.

*and worst of for the night is, my driving license is expired*
yes i told both of my rep about it. that's why we did no went straight to the police.
but if his medical bills ends up more than RM500 or RM1K, we still will turn up to the police and claim insurance. Even though i kena fine.

Through out the whole night, the indians did not know my license is expired. They actually said out loud that the bike driver got license and everything from the beginning. But i suspect he doesn't. Coz he rather go home than to go for medical attention.

That's trying to get me to claim my insurance. For his bike. Coz as Kevin/Adrian * i cant rmbr again* told me, bike rarely buy third-pary insurance.

Another advice from Kevin, since my license is as good as dead, i can't claim third-party insurance for him too.

So concluded with the sum of $$$. And to avoid any other follow-ups from the Indians, we paid.
They even treaten to injured my car during the negociations of the sum to pay.

That's quite the whole story as I could remember. Trying to write as true as possible.

I was too shocked and panic i think... haha.. should have took lots of pics...

i really regret for not taking pictures lo... Not even ONE!!!!!

For the mean time, I need help. Any one available tmrw morning to send me to JPJ to re-new my driving license? My car is not in the condition to drive out to KL City.

Eve even commented my painting is just so "me". when we were still in secondary school, those who likes arts have their own style of painting.. so.. mine its just... have this looks... *arg.... ga erti ga pa pa deh... *... lol...

as long as i'm very happy with it... & painting to release asgn stress is indeed a good way... *GRAFITY*... hahaha...

while we were painting in the dark, those car pass-by us might have thought we were "TAI YE LONGs"... splash Red paint for tak bayar hutang... mana tahu we painted with all our hearts...

just got news from my friend that deadline for AMGI had been postpone to Week 17.
super happy now... have a more relieved heart & mind now....

can 'chun sam' finish up my CAD Pro. then my FTV, follow by my CAD Studio (photography, hate it when i need to do take pictures for asgn) & then lastly AMGI... huahahaha....

i've got my slim baby.
a 120GB External Hard Drive. for RM 380.pretty good deal huhh.

after hunting Low Yat for about an hour with Hui Ling. We still sesat sesat manage to find back that uncle who offered me RM380 for a Western Digital Notebook Hard Drive.

it comes with the normal looking silver casing le.

atlast, i can now re-format my comp & do my editing. for blogs & also for assignments. *yeay, 2 more weeks to go*. yes, i remember, also to do banting designing for Raleigh International KL.

we asked around, others offers me RM385, RM390, RM410, RM430 for 120G (WD). *comes with normal casing & cables*

*a difference of up to RM50. I will need to spend RM50 more if tak buat survey around. RM50 can eat a week lo.*

this HD hunting trip, i learned a lot.
1. IDE & SATA, SATA speed is double IDE. According to the guy but i do not take his words 100%.
2. remember your footprints. So remember where the shop which offer the best deal is located after your survey.
3. Internal HD is so much cheaper than External. I can get 250GB Internal HD for RM380 instead of 120GB External HD. Almsot double.
4. Low Yat sales people are friendly. Takutnya they will marah us for asking & not buying. haha.

First of all, I did not do the judging. Readers did and asumed to conclusion.
Please read my post carefully. *I was just referencing a person in my discussion of thoughts*
my words/sentences are always open sentences. everyone think differently & there might not be a correct answer to it.

This is my blog & i'm only commenting about the changes which is happening in our society today compared to the one I had.

Please note that i also did not pick on her. This post was supposed to be about, "time passed; things change."

I did not denied that our society now must be exactly how it happened to me 6 years ago.

Things change. 'For good' and also 'for bad'. *then it become an experience and we might tresure it for the future*

Different surrounding have different happenings. We grew and breed in different location. Our circle of friends will not be the same too. Peers have a huge influence in our lives, which actually makes every single person grow in withing that circle and beyond.

When time pass, or when we get mature, we have different toughts too. Experience come in handy at this time.

i was blog surfing & drop on to this girl's blog, nejeec. After reading for some time, only i realise she's only 15 years old, this year.

She live like a 20 year old girl, or maybe even older. But still acts & think like a 15 year old.

Does rich KL teenages lives so pampered? Maybe because they've got rich dads... Or the society now teach their children to live with luxuries... *Getting a GUESS bag right after PMR*
What's PMR, okay? It's just a piece of crappy paper. Although i did not really get the best results. but still.

15 years old drinking alco at discos and pubs is like such a turn off to the older ones. aren't they suppose to enjoy their teenage years for atleast another 2 years or more.

suprisingly, KL teenagers are allowed to go clubbing & drinking till drunk & back early morning. That's the society living in today's world?? *shrinks*

Children nowadays are too pampered by parents, i think le. they will grow too protective & do not appreciate how much their parents earn the $$$. It's all hard earn cash...

Hope today's new lepaking teenagers will flash back their lives & think about it.

I did enjoyed my easy going life back in Form 3. Busy with school work, extra co-curiculum. Yeah, i did join as much as 7 clubs/society/persatuan/sukan & etc.

Too Always got to stay back. the earliest would be 3.00pm.

so i've most of my time occupied, but still much related to school. not lepaking around. the most, i love, are just movies. drinking alco only at home or family gatherings *etc. CNY* & i enjoy it from the comfort of my own home.

see, things have change in 6 years. Only 6 years. or people in KL tend to move faster, like the fashion here. haha.

i've always like Petronas ads since i was small. Never knew anything behind the scene but... still it's always touching & tears could actually drip out everytime i watched it on National Television.

although she had use this idea once, but its no harm to use it again. Remember some years ago, where a dad carry his old dad in a big basket & they went up the hill. The dad planned to leave his old dad up the hill to lessen his burden. His young saw it & learned it and practised it. Hope it will be usefull when it's his turn to do it on his dad when he become old. The dad was horrified.

Only when i joined LUCT, i came to knew who Yasmin Ahmad is. The Malaysian Queen. The director of an US advertising agency & a good film maker. Her ideas of making an ad is always my favourite. See, i love her* not even know who is she or he. haha.

Petronas ads are expensive to make but it make us, Malaysian to truely look back our lives & thank our forefathers for it.

I also came to knew more about Yasmin after i watched, Sepet. a friend once told me either you Loved the filme lots or you hate it till your roots. I believe that's true. I went aroudn asking people & either they worshiped it or they hate it lots.

For me, it's my first ever feel Malaysian movie. It makes me feel so proud to be a Malaysian. how i actually hoped i was the crew for this production or any of her films. I would learn alot from her.

would like to wish all my Muslim friend, Selamat Hari Raya & Maaf Zahir Batin.

I went over to Ipoh last Saturday. An uncle of mine was admited to a Ipoh Hospital with critical condition. As planned earlier, we were suppose to leave KL on Monday instead on Sat. But on Friday nite, my aunt heard from my Mom said, he went serious so we need to go the next day, Saturday.

When we reached on Sat, only to know, he was not that serious yet. He still look healthy, only with few pipes connected to him. My mom got the wrong message from his wife. The sick uncle's wife (my aunt).

How am I connected to this "Uncle"?

He's my "Dad's mom's dad's brother's daughter's adopted daughter's husband".
*hope i got it right*. haha.

Ya, that's how we're connected. This family of his lives in Cameron Highlands all this while .Ya, that's why i used to go Cameron 2 or 3 times a year. This aunt of us know Cameron inside out. She will bring us to tea plantation, strawberry farm, night market, morning market, rose garden & every inch on Cameron la... but this uncle, husband of her rarely we meet. Coz he's a taxi driver. We usually only meet up with this aunt.

She's quite influential up the hill, haha. She works in some pub & have loud noise. Can say all children are just scared of her lo. haha. but she's fun.

Her husband actually kena some cancer, last stage. His 'usus' are all messed-up. All kena ulser. As time past, the ulser pecah & spreading all over his body. He feel the pain for few months already but did not check up. Only about 2 months ago only he came down to Ipoh for a full check up upon an urgent advise from a clinic in Cameron. *there's no specialist in Cameron, they cant treat serious patient up the hill. all major illness are send down to Ipoh*

The doctor did not know much about his usus, he tought it was only some minor ulser & did an operation on him. *to cut out the bad usus & connect it back* Only when he did the operation & open things up, he saw that all his uses kena infected d. He cant move or cut a thing. If he did, it will spread faster.

He quickly close back his open cut & told his family members about it. The doctor said, he cant be cured, no hospital in Malaysia would be able to do anything to it as his usus is all infected.

Till yesterday when we left Ipoh, this uncle of mine still have no idea what happened to his ususes. The family did not told him a-thing yet as they scared he might not-able-to-take-it.

He was well build last time. *He's now much smaller now compared to the last time i saw him, many,many years ago*
Big size, almost like my dad.
Have bad temper.
He's only in his mid 40's. the peak of life
Has 2 sons: 18 & 16 yrs old.

His wife kena chicken pox on Sunday, so she was sent back to Cameron. She was the one who jaga-ed him in hospital all this while. Their elder son also kena now, the younger one in recovery stage now.
From this aunt said: lots of people in Cameron now kena Chicken Pox. it is adviceable not to go up there at the moment. It's spreading up there.

He starts to Question the doctor now & then. Asking, why he's not recovering but felt worse. Kept blaming the doctor & nurses that they weren't good. He request to change to a better hospital. He might be going to University Hospital, KL. The family does not have high hope from his recovery.

I kesian the wife the most. He need to be happy all around him when she knows he's leaving soon. She just blurted all out to us when my mom & aunts were there. Hope she can still catch up with her life. Atleast 2 of their sons are grown up & no longer kids.

His mother just arrived KLIA ystd morning from The States, she was there with this uncle's sibling(s). The mom juga kesian when the family pour the news to her over the phone. She rushed back to see him.

Everything in Ipoh was quite new to me. I never experienced such an encouter before. Old people dieing got le. But knowing an 40+ uncle will be leaving soon, is such a sad story.

They do not know how to break the news to him yet, as i know. If they wait, the cancer cells are moving around his body & destroy other parts. It will kill him slowly & it's a torture for him.
Attacking from the usus, to his stomach, to his bones, to his blood vains & to the rest... etc.
Doctor did suggest to make him sleep to death, so he will not suffer. The family members are still speechless. They cant help him much. It's cancer.
If he were to go for a doctor earlier, he could be heal. But he's so hard on his self, refuse to even see a doctor after a major stomachache. 'he once felt his abdomen drop on his stomach', but he was too stuborn to see a doc. which leads to this.

how early is early?

i'm leaving for Ipoh today. Due to my uncle's health condition. My cousin supposed to reach my place at 6.00am. Great, i shall not sleep through the night as I know myself too much. I will 99% overslept.

Reached home almost 11pm from work. Surf net abit, read blog abit..... then Web Sudoku awhile... started to pack my stuff around 4.00am.

My new housemate on his lights & brushed his teeth. I was asking myself, what is he doing? Brushing his teeth 4am? I didn't bother much, continue pack my stuff lo. Around 4:20am, he still look quite blur, standing near the door, with all his stuff packed. *he put his clothes in his laundry bag, those netting ones, due to malesness*

Me: Where are you going?
Him: Genting.
Me: Whoa... Genting? 4:00?
Him: Ya, picking up some friends too. ..... meeting friends at 7:30am
Me: *still a bit shocked*
Him: ya, pick them somewhere le... *face still look blur* Don't tell my bro i left the house so early ya.
Me: Oh, okay... Your bro wont see me around when he's awake too. haha. Drive safe. Bye.
Him: *Opens door & carry all his stuff out* Bye.

i thought 6:00am was early, till i know 4:00am for genting.

my internet provider got problem with their line. the bytes coming in but cant open webpages or my MSN. But funnily, my BitTorrent are downloading stuff. hmmm..... makes me wonder more...

i called up their office and they told me they had the same problem too. *actually i thought they disconnected our line coz, our last paid bill was 2 months ago. They potong if 2 bulan tak bayar*

but they happily re-connect me for this coming DeepaRaya. If they potong today, then their office will only open after Raya. So no net for a week, can die lo... hahaha...

Snakes on the Plane

the title does not attract me at all to go watch the movie. but my housemate dl it. then he said very nice. * i still did not believe him* but since he say nice, got to be nice lo. coz he wont waste 2 hours of his life to watch lousy movie. this is very true kay. he will delete straight if it's a not worthy movie, even though he susah2 dl it.

STARWALK, event of the year *atleast for us*

added Melissa Ooi in my MSN list...

it just felt so weird chatting with her online... she's been my quite so close buddy since... after Form 2. After our CTC 99. We only knew more about each other during the pre-camp meetings at Teng Dee's house.

She lives few blocks behind my apartment then, Green Lane Heights. Since we live so near & not much other Colistrians live that area, we became cycling buddies. There's also Eve who lives that area. Me & Mel goes to the same Add Mats tuition in our area. We cycle to tuition together. After tuition we would cycle more around the neighbourhood till one fine day, we discover there was this path, which leads towards the peak of the GreenLane hill. haha..

Anyway, our friendship also had our ups & downs. Which makes us, Me, Mel & Chrn buddies at all times. Although both of them have got their other half at this moment.

Our yearly not to be missed event, STARWALK. we had been joining since F3 or F4 i think. need to check back the certs. haha. We sure had a hell of good time together to go for the walk. Mel will always have problems waking up 5am in the morning. Me & Chrn will have to wait for her miserably. It is also our so called yearly meet up where we exchange gossips too. Me, studying in KL for the whole year, will surely go back for this. Chrn had taken over my resposibility to register & collect T-shirts for us after i left for KL after F5. We know Mel tak boleh harap one. haha. she lost her My Kad countless time. haha.

I still remember our first time joining now, it was F3. We went for the walk on 11th Nov ( it was Mel's birthday too), later that nite, me & chrn left penang to KL for our school trip. We were both dead tired coz after the walk that morning, we were dancing DDR @ her house the whole afternoon. We went up the bus & fall asleep before anyone starts gossiping behind & awake the next morning in KL, with little blur. haha. I dunt think anyone on bus actually notice we were both dead asleep too. haha.

but now, i'm just so excited about our coming reunion. But damn The Star, this year, they naik harga to RM12 per compertition participants. It was only RM10. & last year's Starwalk, they had a lot lesser sponsors. Hope this year with RM12, you did get more sponsors. Kay.

I also hoped we this year round ,would atleast win a gift from the lucky draw. We join Starwalk faithfully every year but that pernah dapat lucky draw prizes punya... cis..

yesterday, while i was hiding out @ Midvalley from the haze in KL.

i did not wanted to go home coz the haze in KL is in terrible condition. My KL house no air cond. Cant open window, very hazy. open/close window also can die inside the house. lagi without much food in storage. So the best place to be is to be in a shopping complex. Can get everything i want there. They polute the current air with its air cond for us... haha.... so i did nothing in polluting. only my car smoke le. *not much compared to indon*

the brouchure was quite impressive tho. Thought what special invention, mana tahu its juz roller blading with white flooring which looks like ice lo. It's not even half as big as the 'ring' in Sunway but there are still kids playing inside. Mayb the best part is you dunt get wet when u fall? but you lost the fun of ice skating in Malaysia. coz there's not Winter to keep the ice to be ice at all times. haha.

Mana boleh ada business in KL? If open in Penang or some other states can le, KL got Sunway Ice d ma... bodoh lagi... It cost RM10 per entry. If skate half way, wana pee HOW???

staff introduction each other too. a few new ones ga kenal sm yg lama.

in the bus, experience some first-timer. bus driver kena stop by JPJ. some prob with his lesen *we think*
bus all still looking forward for the camp.
arrived campsite pitch dark. but we do have lamps & torches.
staffs - set up tents; participants - still thinking how to set up their site.

Morning called by William. the air was chilled... Mafuz was already wide awake starting to boil water.
They broke a few lighters, just to get everyone hot/warm Milo.
By day break, almost all staff are wide awake; getting theirself ready & have their breakfast at the table.

Games starts. I wasn't facilitating any games. So i went hopping around game stations to check them out. Where i just stand & see. No need to think. lol...

Camp staffs *campsite staff* were supposed to prepare lunch for facilitators & coordinators. We cooked, bihun goreng. I called it the, "Raleigh Muhibah Fried Bihun". Why? coz there are Chinese, Malay & Indian cooking it. We were actually argueing which ingrediants to add in first. Coz C,M & I have different style of cooking. Chinese would like to have oil-heated baru garlic, but some others disagree. So the whole cooking was a mess.
Ended up, each of us did a thing. There were 8 of us. Seorang pegang oil, satu lagi pegang garam, satu lagi gorent, satu masuk telur, bihun, chili & etc. lol... although it was a big mess, but we had a BIG fun too.
Hope those who makan enjoyed as much as we were cooking it. lol...

The trackking begins. Staffs & participants get themselves prepared for the track. They were tracking up a hill which was once during WW2, the Japs stationed. I, did not followed the hike. hehehe... The rest of the staffs which did not followed just hang-out around the site. Me, Nona, Jolene & Alison went for a dip in the river. And also to wash up our dirty body. (the last time i bath was 24 hrs ago). We also did some *private talking* while washing up.... hehehe...

It was drizzling abit after we came out from the river. We lepak more around the site & soon started cooking snacks*. "We had mushroom soup, maggi, milo, scramble egg, goreng pisang, & etc".

Dinner . This time round, we were more organised. We cut loads of garlics, as there were lots of garlics. lol... we also ended up preparing garlic bread. we chopped loads of garlics. Pasta was served as dinner for the staff.

Bonfire. It was myfirst time making a big bonfire. Aida started it & there i was blowing into those twigs to huge logs for about 2 hours. The bonfire supposed to be for the sketch tonite. but too bad, by the time those hikers came back to site & to begin sketch, the bonfire was almost dead. Only ambers left.

Those who went for the hike reached campsite later than expected. Everyone was tired but feel the hike was worthed it. They enjoyed. Participants rushed back to their site & started cooking their dinner. Wherelse for staff, they juz chuck those delicious pasta into their mess tin.Although the pasta had soaked most of the watery paste. Dinner will always be delicious when u're damn tired. All you're looking for is just simply FOOD.

Sketch. Its Li MCed the nite and represented the staff. By the time sketch starts, the bon fire left only ambers. All groups performed well. There were KARAOKE, challenged the staff to sing-&-dance-along-some-Hakka song; sketch about their hike trip.

The staff enjoyed the participants performance. All went well.

Midnite games. Staff were supposed to woke up earlier to 'wake-up' the participants. but ended up i woke-up the same time the pots got banged.
I was jaga-ing the Shepard's Walk. The first 2 groups combined. It was fun watching them. While the 3 group was playing, i was too tired & slept on the Tar road. The nite was cold. After the games, Me & Nona jogged our way back to campsite. Hope body heat will heat me up but i was still cold.

Second morning. Staff only had 1 loaf of bread. Makan sama kaya, peanut butter, baked beans & sardin fish. For those who masih lapar, telur & Maggi masih ada.

Morning Games. This time saya jaga Commander Course. I wanted to do this coz during my IW, we missed this out. check out for the pics later.

We left campsite & arrived RMC around 4:00pm. Staff stayed back for IW postmortem. We had lunch/tea around 4:30pm. Postmortem started around 5:00pm. Ended around 10:00pm. "Someone" told me it will take only few(2/3) hours, mana tahu it too us 5 jam. I think it might ended up for 10 hours if the postmortem wasn't after the IW. Or might be till everyone complain hungry. lol...

100 over mosquito bites was my record for a cam & even in life. In total my eyes could catch was 136 bites.
GILA!!!!!!
but Raleigh International KL IW i will still support. I will still continue to go for camps & outdoor activities.
My hands, legs & other parts are still ichy... i've been trying to stop my fingers to scratch them. I tried using Dettol & it's working. They are getting little smaller & less ichy..... lol...

i was supposed to do my photography assignment, on promoting Malaysia Tourism.
At last minute decision, Butterfly Park i went.

Simple, easy & importantly the entrance fee is cheap.
only RM5 for Malaysian.
at the counter when the lady realise Amelia & Angel speaking funny Malays, she suspected they aren't locals. so she was asking for our MyKad *this is the purpose of MyKad, to get Malaysian discounts*

*my actual plan was to go THE BIRD PARK (said to be the largest covered BIRD PARK in the world), tapi ga jd. Coz the entrance is RM12(special rate during school holidays, N.P:RM30), so mahal & i actually hate birds... they might be in cages & i might not be able to shoot nice pics*, if those not in cage, i'll be to affraid to go near for a good shot*

I showed her mine but Amel&Angel ga punya. *oh no...* does she wana charge them *freaking*RM15 instead of RM5??? Yes, she was asking RM15 from each of them. Gila!!!!

while i was working today...

one of the Twins asked me, "Boleh saya peluk kamu?" "Kamu macam teddy bear."

OH-MY-GOD....

I was at the basin washing my hands while they were peeling oranges when they asked me suddenly. I was speechless for a moment. I had no words to answer them. So the 3 of them just continue peeling oranges & laughing through.

But in my mind.... wah-lau-eh... i dunt think so my work place people know i'm a Pooh freak... but they were telling me i looked like a BEAR (*brain thinking* must be Winnie the Pooh).... shit... do i really look like 1 dee?? ... but in heart also happy... friends had been calling my Pooh... but this time without knowing my background *craving for Pooh* had said i looked like a teddy bear... i'm juz *speechless* for now...

i told my lecturer that i lost my pen drive & i cant show her my asgn. The whole class knew about it *a class of 5/7 students attended to day's class*.

Almost all my classmates were concern about my lost PENDRIVE, now only i knew they were so kind & *good. Even my lecturer. She was telling me that a 1G THUMBDRIVE now cost around RM70... Another classmate of mine even offer me one of his thumb drive... *eyes got shock* still got such a kind of people??? and he's my classmates. Did not knew how kind & generous people still are these days.

Just like when my tyre got punchure less 2 weeks ago. A malay guy riding his motorbike stop-by and asked, "Boleh saya tolong kamu?". I was on the phone calling AAM for help but due to my laziness to go reNEW my membership, it's expire now of NO USE. I was scared for a stranger malay guy helping me & the malay guy was actually scared if i might con him into something. 'THE WORLD WITHOUT STRANGERS' is just not happening in our mind now....

back to my thumb drive story...
my classmate redraw out a collection of THUMB DRIVE from his pocket. He has 3 of it, all different brands & sizes, from 32MB, 64MB & 128MB. Really did thanks for his offer but I still want back my TD. I rejected his offer since all his TD are way too small compare to mine 512MB *and i still think it's too small*....

incase those wondering y my he have got 3 TD with small capacity, it's becoz it's from his friends. They are old & used ones, so he being kind hearted & used their OLD stuff... *many people upgraded their TD since the price drop drasticly*

so happy to found that there are still people out there who wants to HELP... i feel to blessed to have meet 2 people who offered help to me during the moment when i have no one to turn to...

for those who's wondering when i got a car tyre punchure?

really thx for the guy who helped me.
actually on the night before i kena my tyre punchure, i was watching a TVB series where a guy was teaching her to change tyre. and it did helped me... i took all the necsasary stuff out from my boot.

while i was trying to unscrew the nut, as seen on TVB, you use your weight to unscrew it, i tried it many times & the nut dunt seems to move an inch.

*the malu part comes*,
when the malay guy helped me, only i realise i was turning the nut wrong directions. Which is why i fail to unscrew the nuts & change my own tyre... *malu nia...*

for those out there... does anyone know wat to do with my punchure tyre? Heard i can get in 'tampal' or do i need to replace it?

i DID LOST my THUMB DRIVE

yes... i re-confirm again... i did lost my THUMB DRIVE. which is less than 3 months old (or around 3 months)... sudah lupa... bought it during my break back in Penang.

so damn SAD when i realise i forgotten unplug it from the CPU.... yes... only this morning coz i was too tired after class ystd and slept from around 6/7pm till this morning 4am.. huahahah... been long since i slept so much...

was at the elibrary yesterday with Cherly... after using the comp i juz left to pinjam book.... & i forgotten bout my THUMB DRIVE.... juz realise it about an hour ago today.. it's 5:00am NOW.... damn saD.... no mood to do my asgn d... as i do not have thumb drive... How am I possible to bring them to class too???

*hopefully someone good *an angel* will find my thumb drive & pass it to the library assistant or nobody touch it.... ah bo then.... it's total lost... i will never see my thumb drive ever again....

Sunway Convention Centre.... it's big there never been these... so i also agree to go & also hope to get back ontrack.... i invited Sari to teman me & i know she's the *ONE, eyes tickling* along coz i know Li Ching will be busy as her church is the host, sure got lots to do... It's been long enough me & Sari go lepak together... so i picked her up from her college & headed to Sunway.

* City Harvest, the fastest growing church in Singapore. Their services are held weekly at Singapore EXPO. It fits in about 20 000 people at any one time.

Again we had dinner at Kim Gary, again.

part timers working life

i'm super stress with blogger.com... no idea why it always dis-allowed me to upload my photo halfway.. so potong stim nia...

it's been quite long since i blog about my everyday life. Assignments are catching up & seems to get pretty buzy with life.

At first, when i was back from Penang, i thought life back in KL is going to be boring. Since 1 good housemate sudah pindah.

Mana tahu, i go apply for a job @ Wings Coffee, Cyberjaya at around 1pm... i was already asked to work at Wings Cafe, KL (a new Cafe or brach of Wings Coffee in LUCT campus) the same night. Starts work at 6pm.

On the first day, i work dari 6pm to 12 midnight... Legs also tired... but i did learn fast... The store manager was curios and asked,

Manager :Have you worked before?
Me: Yes.
Manager: Work as what?
Me: Waitress...
Manager: That's why le. *saw the-way-i-wipe-the-tables*
Me: *self-thinking-in-head, i've actually did everything in a resto before, from Cashier, taking orders,set the cutleries on table/ cari sayur/potong sayur, bancuh minuman, cooking 'those easy dishes le', cuci pingang, beli bahan makanan,buang sampah; basically i've did everything*

what else have i not done??? yes, i do not know how to bancuh kopi & now i'm working in a Cafe??? Their main customers supposing to come & drink coffee. hahaha...

(since then, the boss got good impression of me becoz i learned fast about the cafe, from wiping table, taking orders, remembered each table's number & everything you need to know in a cafe, so my FIRST impression is GOOD, so there goes i can live good here. not much to be woried)

The first few days working, i can't differentiate the types of coffee which are available in the care. Customer ask i also go blank.. lol...

but now, i've learned alot that i've known before about coffee. There are the same beans but 'bancuh' & served differently. There are Cappucino, Americano, Latte, Espresso & etc... (opps! i actually have not try before those mention coffee...)but above all... i love Escova the most... it's a campuran of a shot of Espressson with 2 scoops of Vanilla or Durian ice cream. Sure you will crave more of it...

what i like the most working there...
1. time are flexible...
2. most of the people there are friendly..
3. nice boss (store manager), my pay still comes from the owner
4. provides meals - lunch, although we eat at 3pm
5. get to learn how to bancuh coffee
6. get to eat some of the food & drinks for FREE...

what i dislike the most...
1. one of the worker there (full timer) who think he's so smart & clever enough... (further details about him below in a new paragraphy)
2. the traffic condition in KL... the cafe is in the HEART of the 'TRAFFIC JAM" city...
3. the car park fees are damn expensive & they are always FULL
4. tired legs after a day's work - which im not actually hating it.. coz i know it's hard to earn $$$

other than these... i think i like this part time job. get to earn extra $$$ to pampered myself to buy more stuff... lol...

THE EGG TART story

ya about the he-who-think-he's-so-clever, he really think he's the boss.. bossing around me... the first 2 days as newbies, listened to his words lo... later on... i beh-ta-han de... the way he talk to customers also RUDE.
when he walks empty handed, he walk like a "King", *i think he wished he is one*... lol... but please come back down to Earth, you are just working full-time as a waiter. Sudah tua tua... when we the younger generation ones talk about our mobile phones, he dont join, coz all he know about is his 3310... always take out *like showing off* as he look at his hp for time. Because his old & rabun abit.. need to get more lights on his *antique piece* to read the time... lol... He's also a malay, & always sees time so he can be on time to go for his prayers. he should...

he juz like to complain stuff... if he's juz not around (on his off-days), i would actually enjoy working there. It's just nice & easy. There was once, he *self-declared* to incharged of a table, coz he took the orders of that table 1st. later on, the table would like to add-order "Egg Tarts" after the 1st order. They saw me & ordered through me. So I also juz took their orders.

Moments later, when the food are served, he 'nga-si' say the customers tak oarder "Egg Tarts", it was the kitchen that had made a mistake on their orders. That was around 6/7pm, not that much of customers. So he lagi FREE & make a big fuss about it... I was inside the air-cond room serving other customers then. When i came out, see why so noisy, only i know they were talking bout the Egg Tarts order. *which is so mou liu*. The one in the kitchen who took my order should know it was my hand-writing, why wana waste time?

The Malay as 'bo-kam-muan', argued the customers did not ordered the tarts when the kitchen was asking him to served it to the table. When i walk close, & heard about it, I said, I took their orders. They did ordered them. The Malay now super bo-kam-muan with me. Said, he's incharge of that table, any additional orders should go though him or atleast "C.C" him about it. *Which obviously I did not*. After this incident settled down, he nags & lectured me through that night about what the unofficial "do's & dont's".

Since them, I just ignore whenever he tries to approach to talk to me. If avoidable & I think the right thing, I just do not do whatever he wants me to do. Huahahahaha... *hope he dont feels he's THE KING*
Since it's always noisy with the band playing at night, we practically need to SHOUT OUT LOUD to talk to each other. So it's easyily avoidable... huahahha.. .& i think im so good at it... huhuhu...

other than just the 'walks-like-the-king', as mention before, he talks to customer like a king too. If the customer made a mistake or ordered something we do not offer, he will tell the customer straight OFF. I could really feel offended if I was the customer. Sure cut him oFF... lol... shouldn't he be just more polite?

The only time he's polite with is the boss a.k.a. the store manager & those who are more experienced than him (practically all the full-timers)... huahahaha... he can only 'king-es' around to the part-timers. unluckily, i was one of them. Whenever the boss is around me, he can't order me to do stuff. So i will stay visibly around the boss. hahaha. but also must show i work abit le. If not I also can kena ma. Pandan-muka-sama-dia.

For the Bangla part-timer, too bad for him, he looks blur to me. He should be blur, cause the Malay guy always complain him being blur about everything he does & always got 'kaki-sakit' for him to hold le.

If there's a chance to say this words, " I QUIT" from working at Wings Cafe. It will be the day I'm sooooo pissed off with this guy.

I've waited *this day* long....

atlast the week arrived. Introducing 'Dutch Lady' *marek tepung susu untuk bayi* .... they took the wild step.... This year is Winnie the Pooh 80th Anniversary... & me... all know Pooh fans... how can i not miss this year.... It's The Pooh Fest & Midvalley Exibition Hall, Level 3.

I took quite a numbers of pic during the visit... *this is my second visit to the Fest actually, cos the First time, *somebody* tak mahu teman me there... I ignore *it* and juz enjoy walking & enjoying the presents of thousands of Poohs & its merchandise.... huahahhaha... even bought myself a Pooh Digital Alarm clock with a coin box... as if i can save $$$$... lol...

the colours are just so vibrant.... lurv it lots... hahahaha.... *minds happy, grinning too*...

*facts: many had came up to me and said, " Do you know you are getting to look like Pooh?" or " You do look like Pooh... ".... huahahaaha.... Am I???***

the crowd gathered for the photo session.... only 400 people are allowed to take pics with Pooh during each session for 30 minutes. Each family can only snap 1 pic with 1 cam. No multiple shots... cis & its gotta be a good one.. The above pic was not even 400 people yet. Much more was coming is when *it* was about to come out. They were the STARS ma... lol.... *grinning hapily to self* We waited for bout 30 minutes in-line for my all time fav *bintang* to come out...

*we also took snaps of ourself* - i cant upload it to blogger, sorry. but nobody actually cares about it... coz i think we were the only group of 4 lining-up to get a pic with my Pooh bear... lol...

at last the *STAR*stars glittering* of the nite is standing next to me....

*too bad, Pooh hear wasnt' looking at my direction, cropping to me & Pooh doesn't look that nice... cis*, i know i did promise those 3 in the pic too will edit pics for them... but i'm juz too lazy to move my ass.... *

a photography camp

it's been a long long time since i last blog... sorry for the long break... my internet connections back in Penang was bad... *It take me an hour to just upload a pic*.... so i decided to enjoy my holiday rather than to stress over a slow upload....

I arrive KL on the 1 Aug 2006. After a few days in KL, i packed my rugsack & off i leave for Belum-Temenggor, Perak. *North of Perak*

It was a Photography Camp by Sony. As most of my buddies know, the "camp" word is attractive enough for me to sign-up & pack my stuff &... off i go... lol...

Sony Photography Camp is one of those... Have no idea where Belum-Temmenggor was, what was that place? What am i going to do there for 4D 3N?....

But overally, i learned aLot from this very camp. Thank lots to Sony & CLiCk for allowing me to participate as a volunteer for the camp.

I did learn lots of photography skills... never knew so much about it... also special thanks to Amelia for pinjam-ed me her Canon digital SLR. Without it, i wouldn't get to snap many fantastic pics....

long holiday

this is my last long holidays of my life in LUCT..... a little more days of a month....

i know i know its been a long time since i update my blog.... but i did had some fun time this time back to Penang.... first of all, ate a lot.... lol... till few days ago... got 'food poisoning' ... as some will know, once i kena attack by virus, i cant move much. I lay down on a matress for the whole day. I went to the loo a few times, puke a few times, & body aching everywhere... at 5.00pm cannot tahan d... my dad send me to clinic.... doctor say i kena food poisoning... my dad even got time to promote his resto to the doctor while i kena jab on my butt..... the doc tested & said i got no fever. but as i experienced before, my symptoms of fever is body ache. so i re-confirm with the doc that i really no fever.

by night, as i expected, i kena fever d. my parents want to send me to Loh Guan Lai SC d, the nearest hospital to my house. yes, its juz 2 house away. 1 minute walking distance. after asking my mom, she said mayb i kena admit hospital. so i want to finish watching my TV series 1st baru go hospital. ya ya... me the TV addict... sakit tenat still want to watch TV... lol...

at last, at the hospital, naik kereta there lagi... lol... saw Tan Bee Ngoh, CLS senior 1 year. President of Boards of Librarian, Boards of Monitors & Basketball Club *keng leh*.... ya, she was the nurse attending me at the ER. *me sick* stil can chat abit with her... lol....

i actually wanted to stay over nite@ LGL that nite... *never stay a nite over in a hospi since the day i was born*... lol... but bad news... due to my sickness was not so major, they say not enuf bed. so i cant stay over for the nite lo... my dad drove me back home & me... continue watching TV til i fall asleep... lol...

that was the saddest part of my whole trip back in penang...

will write more the next time i blog.... sorry no pics.... dunno where my mom kept my card reader...

a hike to Pantai Kerachutt

its been long since the colistrians of 2002 bertemu for a workout.... always makan not healthy.... so we decided on a hike...

at first i think me & li ching got at least 10 people going... mana tahu... by the time we want to hike, only 9 of us turn up....

Meet up time was suppose to be 9:00 am. I thought i will be the latest to reach, mana tau... we were the earliest....

The rest arrived by 9:30am. Registered our self at the booth. Pantai Kerachut is now officially under Taman Negara Pulau Pinang. Need to check-in & out when we are there.

Started to hike at 9:50am.

start cooking lunch....

we did play & snap lots of pic @ the beach.... but i was the only one swimming the in sea... the rest continue taking pics.... ( the pics are with Kai Li, it was her dgcam then)... i was busy swimming in the sea...

started packing before 2:30pm as we've arrange the boat to come pick us up at 2:30pm...

a memorable hike to Kerachut.... but i think they did hope the next beach trip will need much less walking distance.... the best wud be.... walking less than 100 meter from car to beach.... lol....

this semester goes on without really much motivation to me... time fly passes too fast... its alreay 17weeks since the first day college days started this sem... THIS dinner DID make a memorable semester of my whole life in LUCT...

one of my coolest lecturer organise a dinner with us (me & my fellow classmates le) at TGIF, the curve. Suppose planned time was 8pm. But because 6 out of the 8 of use smoke, they wanted the outside tables.as expected, limkokwing student ma.the lecturer smoke too... ALOT.... & we waited 1 HOUR, 15 minutes for a freaking smokeable table.. that's the longest i've ever waited for a table, moreover, its a smoking table... without AC lagi...

the lecturer turn up late, because of some personal matters, excuseable... but as mention earlier he's a cool lecturer. We ordered our meals 1st. We did not know what to order, some goes straight for the steak, some calimari & much more... when he finally arrive, he ordered his main & 2 more appertisers for us... he even ask if any of use want aclcos... but i was driving that nite, so no alcos... the nite went on fine...

eating, drinking our freeflow of softdrinks.... during the meal; our topic of conversation covers from the LUCT inside story to outside story le.. lol... cant share them too much here... lol... might get caugth by them.. technology is too advance now... lol..

we talk, talk, talk, laugh, laugh, laugh & exchange stories... lots to talk.. he's really cool... the waitress was really gud, we did thought she might b from our college... *those africans*... lol..

a joke during the meal: someone asked, "why u all left these chicken wings? they aren't gud?", another person... "because we are all from limkokWING....." lol.. it's lame & does not really connects... but we were juz crakky... *everone laughs*

after our makan, we continue talking, ordered deserts *after the kitchen had tutup*, but manage to order a mudpie & sundae... they were great...

the conversation went from gossip then to more stuff much more about ourselves... one had to ask Qs and everyone else include the one who asked, need to answers too...Some of the Qs goes like this: When did you first masterbed? Are you still a virgin? How old were you when you first had sex? Where was your wildest place doing it? What's your sex fantasy? How long did you lasted NOT masterbeding? & the list goes on & on & on... * answers wont be disclose here*...

i wud say, that was my first time playing such a game... they were very crazy... EVERYONE!!!... lol... but we did had a great & fun time...

all this did happen because our lecturer wanted to buy us a meal... thanks so much for the dinner @ TGIF... the nite was billed RM451.**... we were shoooo off by TGIF at 2am, when the worker want to leave after the football match...

( i think those who smoked, they smoked at least 8 packs of DUNHILL light within the 6(SIX) hours.... )& i was seating inbtw those smokers... unbelieveable...

yes, yes... all this happenED with just the coolest lecturer we ever had... lol...

the day started of with me & Hui Ling, watching IMAX at Times Square... sorry eve, we juz did not have the perfect time to watch IMAX.. i've used the tix on Hui Ling.. since i owe her once for her help on m website... but i will for sure got IMAX for the second time.. the technology of it its juz truly amazing...

we were watching NESCAR, another movie/documentary on car racing.. i lurv it.... the hall was full... some school teaches decided to bring atleast 70 of their students to catch the same screen with us... they were awfull noisy & disturbing.. walking around , idunt think so they understand or even interested with NESCAR.. *quite a lot od b/g talking since its a docu*...

the seats at IMAX, DiGi customers are given piriority in the seatings... exclusive le... lol...

oh, almost lupa, before we went into IMAX, we walk past "DISNEY Live! Winnie the Pooh " roadshow in Times Square... the tixs are juz too expensive, cheapest RM72, most expensive, RM270... really bo tat to juz watch that grumpy old bear on stage, rather spend that for Eason's coming concert... if anyone do know the sponsors and can get FREE tix, please... i want them... lol

they gave me the Pooh posters, my first Pooh poster... huhaahha... its back with me in PG now...

they have some activitist for the kids, i was too old for them... cis...

but i waited eagerly for them to finish so i can take pics on stage with 100 aches woods as my bdrop... lol...

the day i completed all assignments for my Semester 7 in LUCT.... too happy to sleep when i've completed my last asgn at 3am, 16 june. about to finish it, my mobile *sings*, sms from skhim, tmrw movie ON & by the way ENGLAND won... it took her at least 5 hours to reply me. *i'e actually totally forgotten about it*... lol...

pop in some old movie, hope it could help me doze off, but i manage to watch the whole 2 hours of it...

paksa a little to sleep when i know its going to sunrise in an hour's time...
woke up almost 11am... & i never felt so GUD before this whole sem... hmm...

bath & change, pick up sKhim & my classmate, Nicole.. bought student price TOKYO drift 4:55pm *for later that day*... ta pau McD, makan in car...

drove all the way to LUCT, me print-out all my asgns & complie, Nicole finalise her vid-editing, sKhim, trying out Macs (she was using eMac at that time) for the first time... she only realise no right click after i told her.. lol...

we were rushing like mad, not because rushing to hand-in our asgns but to catch out TOKYO drift, on TIME... lol. *bought the tixs earlier,rmbr???*

arrive few minutes late, but it was not that bad...

TokYO driFt, was not that bad, but the main lead seems to be 10 years to old to play as a high school kid... his acting skills weren't that gud & the list goes on...
but boy they can really drift... i know its scary to drift, but that's the fun part & exciting part about drifting... i wish someday.. i could afford to drift... *it takes lots of $$$ to drift*, it might coz u a few sets of tyres to juz learn how to start drifting... so, i'm still juz in the dreaming stage...

but the shots of drifting in the movie was great, it looks really real... (still convincing myself that multimedia tech has the least to do with those shots)... but from what i've learn, they juz make me curious...

the day ended with me & sKhim shopping, lepaking, gossiping *updating infos*, makaning around midval, my teman pulang after the movie..

it was a great day... *gud & satisfying...

Dr. M announce his retirement on my birth-date (June 22, 2002) at the 56th UMNO General Assembly.

Only after FOUR year i, today i know about it.. Felt so proud that the PM announce it during my past birth-date.. huahahaha...

22 chinese calander years ago, 1985年5月5日, 罗佩珊 was born.... yes, it's me (my chinese name le) * jumpling happily around with a wide grin on the face*

today, its 2006年5月5日... so i'm 22 chinese years old today (chinese calander)

why 5月5日 is so memorable? coz, it's also know as the day you all chinese people eat "bak chang"(hokkien), "yuk chung" (cantonese) ... also known now as Glutinous Rice Dumplings... where they have pork in glutenious rice, wrap with lotus leaves & boild them in hot water...

Read it up all here about the origin of "bak chang"... *a drip of hunny*

i use to eat lots of (eat)* revised* them every Chinese Birthday of mine until i come to KL. My grandmother will make a whole bunch for me... yes, that whole bunch just for me... huahahha... no more fresh bak chang to eat on such a memorable day...

i so miss it now... but she(my grandma le) promise to 'pou fan sou' when im back in PG next month... huahahhaha...

Co-incidently, my sister was also born on 05/05, but its 5th of May. The English calander le... but its still FIVE FIVE ma...

the worst driving experience i ever HAD in life...

Saturday was suppose to a happy day. A bit sad too le, coz its was Joe's farewell. But its suppose to be a fun day to party & wipe out all my asgns.... but the rain on Saturday hit me the worst...

On our way to Cyberia, Evangeline's place. (Jolene was car pooling with me). I drove as usual, eventually took the Old Klang Road way.

But heck, while I was talking about our beloved Miss Su to Jolene the rain get worst. At a traffic light, it was red then. I need to halt me car. We could actually feel my car shaking because of the wind. That already scares me. In my mind *what if the wind got so bad that it blow my car off the road*. The trees along the road looks terrible d. & i could hardly see the road while waiting for the green light. When the light turn green, the wind decrease a bit. Atleast i manage to see the road with a better view.

Then all cars start to move to the right lane. It was a two-lane road & i was on the right. So i just continue moving slow. I could see the water rose abit on the left. It was "teh-tarik" colour. It was then my turn to cross the "teh-tarik" water. (the water already reach the right side abit when i reach there) All of the sudden, this Black Honda came out from no where & over took me. (a black old modified & lowered Honda Civic, cant remember the plate number).

The black Honda starts to move slower. I begin to get worried. My car still able to move fast en0ugh on that water level. But because of this STUPID black Honda over-took me all of a sudden, I got stuck in the teh-tarik water. Okay, I begin to freak out at that moment. I could feel the SHAKE. I think my car really shook & I was also shaking. I kept on Accelerating in free gear but i've felt so ****** (i was really freaking out that time, no words to describe)... Then i got-into first gear, but my car couldn't move at all. Oh-no... I'm stuck... So I wind-down my window, I look out & the water should had rose till around my knee level then. I feel like im in a boat on "teh-tarik". THIS IS NO LONGER A CAR. I even got worried more. I took my hand out the window & wave... I do not know what to do....

The black Honda car later release black smoke from its exhaust pipe. Padan muka... OVER-TOOK me le...

The cars behind me begin to reverse. At this time, Jolene saw the "teh-tarik" was flowing into my car, from the slits of the door. We got nervous now. I begin to think was if the water continue to flow in & fill up my car. What if my car died of at that TIME? I cant open the door, the water will come in faster. Should I climb out the window and leave my car?

But with the faith *or what ever you call* I have at that moment, I change to reverse gear & my car could actually RESERVE. (I still do not understand till today, how was the possible when i can move forward, i did ask a few guys but they've got no answer for me. Maybe it was God who helped me out. Thank you, my Lord, my Saviour.)

I kept on tekan minyak.... & my car was moving back-wards. I was a little relief at that time. I'm going to get out from the teh-tarik soon. On my left, there was this smaller road which is on higher ground. Without much thought, I took a left turn *thank God that at that moment, all of a sudden, my car could move forwards* on higher ground.

Me, Jolene & my car at last on higher ground... We went out of the car & start to scoup out the teh-taraik which sips into my car earlier. It was still raining outside but we still continue scouping the water. We were all WET... Thank you Jolene for helping me to scoup the teh-tarik...

I just left my engine on while we scoup *scared i cant restart my engine after the teh-tarik dip*. But it went off while we were scouping. I got panic and YES, i called my dad in Penang. Which I should have thought, he could not do a think about it. But I was panic, he told me to try start the engine, thank God it starts...

Ya, i had place my sling-bag near my legs area while i was driving all the while. I only realise about my bag while i was turning left into the higher ground. Luciky i did not left my hand phone in the bag, if not, my less than 2 months old phone will be gone case again. I had place in in my bottle holder, near the gear. Only my ear-piece & purse was inside. My ear-piece still can work, the water went into my purse a bit. But thankfully, my credit card & bonus link card still can use... lol... (isi petrol penuh after that, incase i ran out of petrol in such a horrible weather).

I also found a few things floating in my car when I was scouping the teh-tarik out. my socks & some bottle behind. We had took out pots of Tom Yam & chicken on the seats... They are safe from the teh-tarik... no worries to those who had makan them in cyberia...

We reach Cyberia around 8pm. Joe, Emily & Kelvin came down to help us take our pots. Emily actually thought Jolene just took a bath before we came. huahahahaha... Jolene was dressed in jeans & t-shirt. So the rain water was still soaking in her clothes. I was in shirt & surf shorts, get dry faster.

When we reached Evan's place, everyone was so well dressed. At least the host was in a dress & pretty earings. Me and Jolene was wet and dirty from the teh-tarik earlier... So we decided to change to atleast cleaner & deceant clothings. I thought Raleigh ma, mostly also in t-shirt & shorts one... hehehe... mana tahu, the place got atmostphere also... with nice lightings...

the night goes of with makan, then the performance by the 3 guys who's leaving Malaysia for UK. Joe's friend, Kelvin ( i think first time meet most of us) kene buli by the Raleigh too... huahahaha...

We have Gurney Drive, Gurney Plaza, Gurney Walk, Gurney Place & plain 'gurney'... but did anyone ever thought or came across their mind, what does Gurney means... all this while i thought it was a 'given name'. Mayb it given historically... but we never bother to Question it... because as we mostly juz got comfortable with it.. we've know the 'name' from our earlier generations.. so never bother to ask...

It actually means....

Gurney = A metal stretcher with wheeled legs, used for transporting patients.

yes, what we mostly called, a "stretcher" or a "trolly". Mostly use in a hospital, a moveable 'bed' to move patients around... Can find them in Ambulance & ER...

I came across this world while i was watching 24. i learned a LOT from 24.
Eg: shooting techiniques, scripts, human reactions, human behaviors, other's POV, their jargons(use in CTU), how high-tech our world had achieve (mostly US have the $$ to own such resources), politics & much much more... I even took down notes while i was watching it... might be useful next time... Kevin was little shocked when i actually wrote notes while watching such an action series... huahahahah...

so, watching TV is never a waste of time... u can also learn while watching TV... for me... i've LEARNED a LOT... & i've still many many years of TV/movies watching to learn from...

i was in Singapore last weekend.. was busy trying to get as much asgn done before leaving... I know going for a 4/5days holiday during the end of the semester was a tough thing to do. Which makes me very fully loaded with asgns now.

And because i've watch Season 1 "24" a TV series about 2 weeks ago, it had tempted me to watch the second Season. It's so tempting because, the DVD had been sitting in my living room shelves since i stay here... Juz slip it S1E1 into the player while i found it while i was cleaning the house. There was how it begins...

Until an hour ago, i've completed Season 2. It's a very good production. All scenes were suppose to be running at REAL TIME. Check out here to read more about *24*.

I watch the production video of the second season. It comes a DISC 7 in season 2. A whole DVD on its making by the Producers, Directors, Talents, Crew & everyone else on board. It's just make me more it go into "their world" of filming. But it's juz so different here in Malaysia, because:

BUDGET. yes we do not have that much of $$$....
when we cant get that $$$, our resources are limited. RESOURCES
the TECHNOLOGY. We are still so back behind... but Malaysia filming industry is growing at the moment... at a pace where it might takes a century to reach where HOLLYWOOD are now.
Lots of other factors.... etc.

But... I still have a whole big world out there. The industry is juz too big for me to decide now or even after I've graduate. I've thought of going into Producer's line... i think "Directing" is too much for me. Too much preasure to be a "good director". Into the Broadcasting line, eg: in television, on set & etc. (still too wide). I'm also interested with Events Management... I think its going to be as much preasure as a Director. But When u're in such an industry, every role you want to play have BIG PREASURE. That's why they earn good $$$. But you need to be really in love with what you are doing so & also in-love with it. If not, you might juz have a major crash/breakdown.

After watching "the making", only i realise Second Season was shot in 2003. 3 years ago. They took 9 months to shoot a whole complete season. Which actually took me 18 hours to watch each season. They've spend a lot of time to DO THIS. What they did had inspired me... I'm wordless now... I've learn much more about the ''politic'' world. I've never took interest into politics. It's juz too much & I dunt think it will be related to what i'm studying now. But, NO... it's always related... My lecturer even teach world politics which makes me bored in class... *okay*... not related dee.. nvm

i check the NET & realise 24 had already been aired till Season 5. Season 6 will be out early next year, 2007.I'm so out-dated...

Right now, i'm still very obsess with 24 with my pile of asgn high up, almost reaching the ceiling... hopefully, i will have the mood to complete all my asgn next weekend or tops, 9th June 2006.

Cause, I'll be leaving for Port Dickson on the 10th of June 2006. never been there my before... huahaha... ya, sadly RIKL AGM change venue, I wont be going to Cherating dee... *hiks*... hope it'll be as fun as it wud be in Cherating...

It was for Joe's MHC 292... It's a MCI like module... lots of theories, nothing else plus theories of Multimedia & its history.....

After my presentation, i was Bianca's... we do not need to be well dressed to present, as long as what we present make sense & it better does... huahahha....

She was in tee, jeans & slippers... yes, slippers... lol... & i thought i was casual enough for it... lol....

After the class ends, i headed back to Amel's place.. to return her laptop... Thx lots for it ya... non of the presenter on that day brought one... & they called it a Multimedia lap... when all the eMacs in CMB3 do not even have Microsoft Power Point or even Microsoft in them.... I know its expensive to get a real one for Macs... but we, Mass Comm students need their labs to be well equipt too... That's y we are always bothering the Archiltectual Labs.... coz they they have Microsoft & we dont...

1[PEI]2 atlast finish her exams... suddenly SMS ajak me for movies.. but when i called back, movie canceled... lol... so we juz ended up shopping & also ON back for movies... because i really wanted to catch a movie badly... *as usually le*...

this was how the day goes...

saw some fashion show in Midvalley center stage... but it was too crowded... that week was Midval fashion week... a few brands doing their walks on different days... It was Salabianca & Philosophy that day...

Then we walk into Giordano... I tried these on...

It was really comfy & moreover with my lovely Pooh on it.... but... RM49 for a white top... need to think really lots of time..

I'm juz so sure I will dirty it as soon as i wear it out...

So, gave it back to the salegirl sadly...

At ZARA, saw a brown skirt... was nice...

Then a black one... both for the same price... ofcourse ...

I WENT for the black one... huahahha... you should have guess it too right...

Around 9:30pm, we went into the cinemas for "She's the Man", we missed the whole first 20 minutes of it.. It's juz so not me right... all Pei's & her bf fault le... when would i go into a cinema that late?? early 20 minutes got le... lol... but the show was nice...

more shopping the next day at KLCC... while we came out from Topshop, there was a Canon (or some camera brands) promoting their products le... so we walk in & see... they were offering a shot with their highly MP digital SLR for RM3 per pic. But the only background they had was pink. So I did not wanted to. Why should i pay Rm3 for a pic taken with a b/g i dunt like, its juz a SLR... so??...

while the man persuaing 3 of us to take, *talking to me mostly* Pei Pei was looking at some pics he had taken... & noticed a girl look 85% like Maria, yes Maria Leow.... so we all happily look at the pic & laugh...

really a great & nice experience... first time been to such an event... lebih lagi.. organise by Quiksilver lo...

Sunny day @ the beach... all looking at the surf performance.. i cant manage to get a perfect shot during the Aussie guy surfing...

Me & Kenneth after having a quick dip at the beach pool... gave way to the surfers to perform...

No idea wat happened to the boy, but an Ambulance drove in to pick him up... & with his family.. so sad... dunt get to play anymore...

and Guess what... QUIKSILVER giving 20% discount store wide... + 10% if u're in beachwear...

This outlet is in the Sunway Lagoon itself. Not the one you see in Sunway Pyramid. much smaller too le..

They gave give such good deals before... when was the last time you see a discount tag for Quiksilver / Roxy new arrivals?

As the night gets in, suddenly im surrounded by Malays (guys & girls) & most of the malay gurls came in bikini lagi... i really got shocked man... the chinese suddenly getting lesser... Maybe they've been taken over by the Malays...

I left around 9:45pm... too crowded with Malay so i juz chau le...

Malaysians have always wanted to live like the Westerners... as the claim to live in a modern world... But come to think of it, does Malaysians (Asians) really want to live exactly like them?

From the point of view of our diets, it's just so different. We just love good food. Not just well proper food but also our hawker food our the chinese 8 course dinner. We often eat delicious food which is bad for our diet. Come to think of it, I still cant think of a healthy Malaysian food which everyone of us like. Are there any??

But the Westerners do have their diets plan properly. Where they do not have heavy meal for each each in a day. If they want to enjoy a descent meal with their love ones or family, then they would prefer a dinner. For lunch they would go for light snacks such as sandwitches... Coz they are expecting a nice and heavy meal at night... (which is not at good also le)... but compare to us... we want all our meals nice.... do we???

Special thanks to the States for they had created KFC & McDonalds'.... which is desceasing their health diet at the moment...

So should we actually follow the Westerner's diet as to claim our self to live in a modern world???....
Who defined MODERNITY, that we(Asians) must follow the westerners to live in a modern world???

just suddenly thought about this while i was cooking for my Instant noodles in the kitchen... lol.... yes, especially INDO MEE... its super tasty... not the Malaysia made one, those Made in INDO ... try it for yourself... lol....

was too lazy to do my asgn which was actually due last Wed... started to do researching on net for my asgn but... ended up reading other's blogs... some are quite interesting.. some are bored to death...

but i did found a few RIKL members' blogs... and they have pics of IW which i do not have.. so i curi from them.. cis.. din send us the pics... huahahha....

We were playing "Guardion Knot", i think there were almost 20 of us.. holding each other's hand... & we are all tangle-up... we were suppose to get free from this KNOTs...

We try to get loose from the sky was still bright till dark.... but at last... we juz let go of our hands... too tired & smellie of each other's sweat... lol.. but it was fun...

(holes as the size of 10 cents) See also the big red pail, we were not allowed to touch that. Outside the red pail, it's surrounded by a circle of stones. Its around 1.5meter in diameter. We were also not allowed to step inside. But Delta group members were smart enough to be the only group to get the 2 ping pong balls out from the paip... whooowooooo.....

assignments are coming in piling me up.. but im still so lazy to move my ass to do them today... so the day started late...

Joe's lecture starts at 4pm... i arrive late.. reached class around 4:40pm... opps...

but today's class was FUN... realy fun le... Joe share a lot today... but it must be within the 4 walls... if not... the walls do have ears... lol...

Our MHC 292 lecturer, ask us out to go for a drink.. not now le... all rushing for asgn now.... end of semester... a drink as in open bottle... he say cheaper, only RM200 compare to charge per head... huahahha... i think it's gonna be at a CLUB... lol.... we also have a choice to go makan at CHILIS... so its either CHILIS or a DRINK... all he "belanja"... because we all KUAI KIA ma... lol... i think we have around 8 students in our class... huahahahhaha..... not that much huhh.... & although 8, but i dunt think we ever get full attendance....

so today is a happy day... for he promise to Belanja us... huahahahha....

If we manage to get a B+ for this module, we get to choose the most expensive thing in CHILIS's menu... till now, he only know 1 person manage to get an A for this module, so image... getting a B+ is really good d... for i never get a B in his class before... it's really hard...

so for now... smiling happily away...

Delta's Jumbo Sale...

first of all would like to greatly thank you to all my group members for allowing me to be the Project Manager. Our Jumbo Sale was a great success.

The members were very helpful, special thanks to Jolene & family for letting us to use their place to store our stuff, i mean there are lots of it... & also for the foods & drinks that they have prepare for us..... Make all of us miss our home cook food. Most of us are not locat from KL ma...

Also to those who help us in transportation.... a very good thank you for helping us in fetching the stuff to Mont Kiara.... They are Alan, Lii, Tim, Din, Intan, Shirleen, Vincent, Roger & Jolene's dad. THANK YOU all very much....

On the Jumbo Sale, (30 April 06, Sunday)

Actual plan was, those who are helping us in transporting the stuf to meet at Jolene's at 8:15am...

I plan to reach there before 8am, atleast can finalise some stuff before loading them into the cars... Mana tahu, when i reach around 7:45am with Aishah, Alan & Lis reach earlier than us.... waiting in the living room d... Wah!!!! so early le u all.... malu nia.... Thank you so much for helping us ya...

When i look at our stuff in Jolene's house, they are already properly stack up & divided. Thanks to Jolene for everything... U had help us a LOT....

Later on Intan arrive, her Unser was fully loaded... Aishah followed Intan's car, all 3 cars, (Alan, Li & Intan) left from Jolene's around 8:20am. This is earlier than I thought, i think they had breakfast 1st lo....

Vincent & Ei Lyn reach later... we started to load more stuff into their cars... & headed to Mont Kiara...

Moments later, Tim arrive, some guy who almost went for RIKL IW 2 years ago but missed it because he was sick the day before... He got to know about our Jumbo Sale & help us LOts.... thank you again...

Then Din arrive with Evangeline... she printed some stuff & loaded Din's car with more stuff...

Tim & I went to Mont Kiara 1st to unload our car....

by the time i reach there, it was already 9:25am, we are still okay on our time. Everything is fine... except we have lots of stuff to arrange...

Those who arrive earlier like Ezra, Alan, Li, Vincent & Ei Lyn had already started to sort things out...

Our umbrella was only 8x8 feet... but we have loads of stuff in boxes, bags & everything else...

Our first transaction took place before 10:00 am. It was RM10. I was not sure what it was but somebody pass me RM10... lol

In the end, the management ask us to pindah tempat... Because we have too much stuf... Really sorry for our spot. I expected the sales is juz at average, so I did not wanted to take up 2 booths or more. We need to pay RM65 per booth, if spend less, then atleast we can untung more ma... But things went beyond expectation....

Around 10:30am at the new place, we sort out our things again... We have loads & loads of stuff to sell... I think we have more than 50 pairs of school shoes... more than 5 boxes of books & magazines & comics... & lots more of random stuff...

Before noon, business was juz cold but still okay. We manage to cover up the rent for the booth. By then lots of RIKL members came to help us... They are Vic (some photographer, he took lots of pics. I did not took more than 20 pics for this JUMBO SALe... really sorry... no time to do that as i was busy, so really thank him for taking our pics), Adrian, Shirleen, Eddie, Li Ping, Szu Mei, & many many more which I do not know them well yet & also forgotten their names(sorry ya)... but thank you all so much for making our project a successful one.

By 1:30pm, we need to change stategy, prices started to slash, things went as low RM2 or RM1 each. The packets of oats was sold at RM2 each, a lady bought all of it. (we think she bought from us & sell to others at a higher price to others too... lol.. jk). A lady bought a nice & well ELMO for juz RM2 too... that ELMO was nice le... RM2 was super cheap... Luciky I safe my TIGGER too... huahahhaha... It's hopping around with me now... lol....

around 3:00pm, a lady approach us if we want to sell the white board, yes the one we wrote [RM2] on it... Yes, of course we want to sell it off... so we got another RM3 from the white board... Yes, so now we left our voice to SHOUT... no more board.. lol

At 3:30pm, business was still not going that fast, & we still have lots of stuff, we change plan again, things now go as low as RM1 each. our business was super great then... Everyone came to buy our stuff... It was really cheap... Some of the RIKL members bought too... ya, they waited till RM1 only buy... lol...

We need to change the price also because we see the weather started to change.Almost 4pm & CLOUDY, no sunshining at us..... Then everything is selling at RM1 each... we had a great respond from the public...

We manage to sell as much as possible at RM1. I started to worry about the weather by4:15pm. We started to pack up the rubbish & some stuff into bags & boxes.

During the sales, a small girl came back many times to buy stuff from us.. She was so cute... lol....

At 4:35pm, i felt a drop of rain. It was time to pack up everything. We hurriedly pack our stuff & hide under the shades.

Even at such a time, there are still people who wants to buy our clothes. Yes, under the umbrellas. lol... They are the cleaners there... digging those clothes from the box...

Those who are all packed start loading our left overs into Alan's & Li's cars. Some went into Vincent's & some into Shirleen's car.

By 5:00pm we are all at Jolene's house again. They had all arrive, waiting for me eagerly... yes, the cash was all with me... lol.... Can lari with the wang ya... lol

We started counted, I got more than RM1000 in hand. Only then i realise, some money is with Roger & he's still not back yet... lol... mayb he left with the money... lol.... jk...

So for this JUMBO SALE we got a nett profit of..... *drums rolling****

the Melacca trip.... DAY 1

after our group meeting, Joe, Evan, Shirleen, Adrian & me headed to Melacca... the historic state of Malaysia... it was the Shirleen's first time stepping into Melacca to... the furthest she headed South before was KL... ya... she's another Penangites too... from CPT...

DAY 1

our journey.....

the journey begins RIGHT in the car......

on our journey along the highway... we saw this Perdana (very obviously a Perdana, not much external modification on it), who sticks a Evolution on its back.... so we all had a great laugh at it...

we have no idea how come we pissed-off the Perdana driver & the ride was rough... and because of the Perdana knock on a orange cone along the highway and the cone flew up and almost hit the Wira behind us.

So now the Wira got pissed-off because the "ah pek" in the Wira thought we knock it... so he puts the blame on us... another rough journey to Melacca... the "ah pek" was really rude with his driving skills... cis.... but we're on holiday... so juz ignore him (although he tried snaking around us all the way till we are inside Melacca) & we continue have a great time in the car...

When we arrived Melacca... juz right after the Melacca toll... we saw this...

the 3 towers...

Chinese + Malay = Pernanakan.... also known as the Baba Nyonya...

Once reach, we headed for the so-called-famous Satay Celup in Melacca....

It's 90% like Penang famous Lok Lok but the soup boiling in the middle are Satay sauce... not as pekat as those u eat with satay le... but quite pekat too....

More Satay Celup...

Lots of variety... & each stick cost RM0.50.... cheap le...

but the plates are charge differently... depends on their sizes too...

After Satay Celup we walk around Melacca town.... and also the famous STADTHUYS....

After lots of walking... we had Melacca Chendol with burnt gula Melaka on it... (mine's with Durian, so cant taste the burnt gula Melaka

I still prefer Penang Road Chendol after taste 2 different Melacca Chendol... lol... miss them now...

We walk along Jonker Street after Chendol & also the quite streets of Melacca.. it was quite & it was juz peacefully....

We headed for beers at Ringo's after the walk.... its along Jonker St. too... we had 2 buckets...

Geographer (opposite Ringo) was great too... been there the last time in Melacca with D-13-B people... the Mo Mo Cha was shot there...

After beers, we headed for more food... the also famous Ikan Bakar in Melacca.... in some deserted area... quite far from town to...

A fast & snakey ride by Roger in his brother's Nissan to the ikan bakar...

Adrian passed-out outside the IKAN BAKAR...

We ate more food in Melacca... we also ordered some sotong & kepak (i think)....

A very malay style cooking.... but we manage to finish everything on table.... because they are delicious...

The two guys started to get lazy & sleepy... they manage to sleep in Roger's bumpy & snakey car ride....

huahahahhaha.... altast we manage to take a decend viewable photo of them.....

After lots of eating for the day... we did something extraordinary... something i never have the chance and courage to do before.... something nobody will ever thing of...

if some out-of-town friends visited you, would u ever bring them to a graveyard? yes... a GRAVEYARD...

Roger did... to a Christian graveyard with lots of statues.... lol... it was around 10pm when we arrive...

still do not believe our trip to Melacca... then I took this just for your eyes to believe us....

Roger & his friends lepak here during his school days....

with this the last destination for the day.... we head back to Roger's house....

But only he realise ... he's without his house keys.. after much seaching around... there's no way we can get in... so we ended up playing with this dog... no... the dog came play with us... we were all too tired.... so we juz fall asleep at his porch while waits for Roger's sister to open the doors...

And also.. we back-packed there... so we're all sleeping in sleeping bags in his living room...

But this house got lots of facilities... we manage to massage our muscles in a full body massage chair, watch ASTRO, & also sleep in a AIR-CONDITIONED living room....

it was great... thank lots to Roger & his family for letting us having a night over...
